Westmont College Warriors Summer Baseball Overnight Prospect Camp

The Westmont College Warriors Summer Baseball Overnight Prospect Camp is going to simulate a real collegiate level training and game. It is a three-day fast-paced training program that will run from the 22nd of July until the 24th of July. This overnight and day camp is going to take place at the beautiful Westmont College campus. Furthermore, this baseball prospect camp is open to all and any high school boys who are aspiring to play at the college level. The registration fee is $399 for overnight campers and $299 for day campers. The training program will be under the supervision of the Westmont College Warriors baseball coaching staff and current players. Overall, the event is going to be a physically demanding but fun training experience. It is important to note that attendees need to bring their own baseball gears and equipment.
Westmont College, originally Bible Missionary Institute, is a private, coeducational, Christian, liberal arts college in Santa Barbara, California. It is an affiliation of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Westmont College is also part of the California State Board of Education and the Christian College Consortium. Westmont College Warriors Summer Baseball Overnight Prospect Camp Organizers

Leading the Westmont College Warriors baseball team is Head Coach Robert Ruiz. He is at the same time the college’s Associate Athletic Director. Coach Robert Ruiz is at the helm of the Warriors baseball coaching staff since June of 2009. He is a bachelor’s degree in organizational studies graduate from Pitzer College. Additionally, Coach Ruiz also is a master’s degree holder from Azusa Pacific University. He is the recipient of the 2016 Golden State Athletic Conference Baseball Coach of the Year Award. Ultimately, under his leadership, the Warriors has already a Golden State Athletic Conference Tournament titles and a Golden State Athletic Conference regular season title. The team’s pitching coach is Tony Cougoule. He is also the Facilities Liason. Coach Tony Cougoule is a cum laude graduate with a degree in degree in administrative management from Mount Mercy University. He is also a master’s degree in physical education graduate from Azusa Pacific University. Then, the Warriors assistant baseball coaches are Greg Venzor, Elijah Ontiveros, and Julian Ramon. Coach Greg Venzor is now in his ninth year with the coaching staff. He is the team’s outfield coach and first base coach. Meanwhile, Coach Elijah Ontiveros and Julian Ramon are in their first season with the staff.
