Virginia Commonwealth University Rams Baseball Youth Summer Camp

The Virginia Commonwealth University Rams Baseball Youth Summer Camp is a five-day training program that will run from July 9 until July 13. It is going to be at Chesterfield Little League which is held in Bailey Bridge Road
Midlothian, Virginia. This baseball youth camp is open to all boys 7 to 12 years of age at any skill level. All the instructions will be in accordance with the participant’s age and skill level. Furthermore, the camp registration fee is $225 for regular campers and $300 for extended day campers. Regular camp is going to run daily from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Meanwhile, extended day camp will run from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM.

Virginia Commonwealth University Rams Baseball Youth Summer Camp Organizers

Head Coach Shawn Stiffler is leading the Virginia Commonwealth University Rams baseball team. He is a bachelor’s degree in communications graduate from George Mason University. Coach Shawn Stiffler is now in his sixth season at the reins of the Virginia Commonwealth University Rams baseball program. Ultimately, Coach Stiffler is the 2015 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) East-Region Coach of the Year awardee. This award comes after he led the Rams to an Atlantic-10 Conference Championship that year. Coach Stiffler also led the Rams to their Atlantic-10 regular season title in 2017. Then, the Rams assistant baseball coaches are Mike McRae, Rich Witten, and Josh Tutwiler. Coach Mike McRae, an alumnus of Colby College, is in his first season with the coaching staff. He is also a master’s degree in education graduate from Niagara University. Coach Mike McRae hails from Niagara Falls, Ontario. Additionally, he is a four-time Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Coach of the Year. Coach Rich Witten, a native of Danville, Kentucky, is also in his first season with the coaching staff. He is a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science with a minor in Psychology graduate from Coastal Carolina University. Similarly, Coach Josh Tutwiler, a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and minor in Philosophy of Religious Studies graduate from Old Dominion University is also in his first year with the staff. He is also a master’s degree in Sport Leadership graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University.
