The Valparaiso University Crusaders Summer Baseball Youth Camp is open to all boys 8 to 13 years of age at any skill level. It is a three-day baseball training program that will run from the 9th of July until the 11th of July. It is going to take place at the state of the art Emory Bauer Field which is on the Valparaiso University campus. Furthermore, this baseball youth camp’s daily schedule is set to start at 9 o’clock in the morning and end at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. All the instructions and groupings are in accordance with the participant’s age and skill level. In addition, the camp registration fee is $200 per player.

Valparaiso University Crusaders Summer Baseball Youth Camp Organizers
The head coach of the Valparaiso University Crusaders baseball team is Brian Schmack. He is an alumnus of Valparaiso University with a bachelor’s degree in sports management. Coach Brian Schmack is now in his fifth season at the reins of the Crusaders baseball program. He is the team’s former pitching coach and was instrumental in its back-to-back Horizon League championship runs. Additionally, Coach Brian Schmack is a former Chicago White Sox, Texas Rangers, and Detroit Tigers pitcher. Then, the Valparaiso Crusaders assistant baseball coaches are Ben Wolgamot and Nic Mishler. Coacn Ben Wolgamot is a bachelor’s degree in health and fitness graduate from Purdue University. He is with the coaching staff since the 2013 season. At the same time, Coach Ben Wolgamot is the team’s recruiting coordinator. He is the 2008 Easton Defensive Player of the Year Awardee. Coach Wolgamot is also the recipient of the 2008 Rawlings Gold Glove Award. On the other hand, Coach Nic Mishler, a Grand Canyon University graduate, is now entering his fifth season with the coaching staff. He is also Grand Canyon’s former bullpen coach. And finally, the Valparaiso University Crusaders volunteer assistant coach is Kory Winter. Coach Kory Winter is a bachelor’s degree in English and Education graduate from Wittenberg University. He is also a master’s degree in education graduate from Muskingum University.
