University of Texas Longhorns Baseball Summer Showcase Camp

The University of Texas Longhorns Baseball Summer Showcase Camp is open to all and any boys in grade 9 to grade 12. Its goal is to provide the ideal learning platform for players who aspire to take their game to the college level. It also provides a venue for excellent players to showcase their outstanding baseball skills. In addition, this baseball showcase camp is a two-day event that will run from August 18 until August 19. Its venue is the top-notch UFCU Disch–Falk Field, the home field of the University of Texas Longhorns baseball team. Furthermore, the participants will receive instructions and performance evaluation from the Longhorns baseball coaching staff. Registration fee is $150 for pitcher and hitter, while it is $100 for pitcher only or hitter only registrants. Available camper spots are limited. Thus, registration is on a first come first serve basis. Overall, it is going to be a motivational and fun training experience.

University of Texas Longhorns Baseball Summer Showcase Camp Organizers

The head coach of the University of Texas Longhorns baseball team is David Pierce, a native of Houston, Texas and a University of Houston alumnus. Coach David Pierce is at the helm of the University of Texas Longhorns baseball program since June of 2016. He is the 2012 American Baseball Coaches Association Regional Coach of the Year. Additionally, Coach David Pierce is also a two-time conference coach of the year awardee. The team’s assistant baseball coaches are Sean Allen and Philip Miller. Coach Sean Allen also a University of Houston alumnus hails from Carlsbad, New Mexico. He is with the coaching staff since June of 2016. Coach Allen is a bachelor’s degree in sports administration graduate. Then, Coach Philip Miller, a native of Clinton, Louisiana, is a bachelor’s degree in business administration graduate from Northwestern State University. He is also master’s degree in education graduate from Sam Houston State. The University of Texas Longhorns volunteer assistant coach is Phil Haig and the director of baseball operations is Drew Bishop. Furthermore, Michael West is the senior associate athletic trainer and Stephen Walen is the assistant coach for athletic performance.
