The University of Pittsburgh Panthers Summer Youth Baseball Clinic is for all boys 6 to 14 years old who are seeking to improve their baseball skills in a fun training atmosphere. This event will run from the 18th of June until the 21st of June at the scenic Cost Field at Petersen Sports Complex on the University of Pittsburgh campus. The program’s daily schedule is set to start at 9:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM. Moreover, this four-day baseball clinic includes fundamental drill instructions and live games. The clinic’s registration cost is $235 which includes a camp t-shirt. Siblings discount is also available. Furthermore, this training program is an initiative of the University of Pittsburgh Panthers baseball coaching staff and current players. Groupings and instructions will be in accordance with the attendee’s age and skill level. Another schedule is set to run from the 16th of July until the 19th of July.

Head Coach Joe Jordano is leading the University of Pittsburgh Panthers baseball team since November of 1997. He is an alumnus of the Westminster College. Coach Joe Jordano is also a master’s degree in athletic administration graduate from Slippery Rock University. Furthermore, Coach Jordano is a two-time Big East Coach of the Year awardee. He is also the 2010 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) East Region Coach of the Year and Chuck Tanner Collegiate Manager of the Year. Ultimately, Coach Joe Jordano is also an inductee into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame and the Mercyhurst College Hall of Fame. The Panthers assistant baseball coaches are Jerry Oakes and Billy Alvino. Coach Jerry Oakes who is also the team’s pitching coach is with the coaching staff since August of 2012. He is a bachelor’s degree in sports management graduate from Coastal Carolina University. On the other hand, Coach Billy Alvino is an alumnus of High Point University. He is also a master’s degree in sport business management graduate from Manhattanville College. Coach Alvino is with the Panthers baseball coaching staff since June of 2015. Finally, the team’s volunteer assistant coach is Aaron Lynch.
