University of Nebraska Omaha Mavericks Baseball Youth Camp

Join the University of Nebraska Omaha Mavericks Baseball Youth Camp. It is a three-day event that will run from the 18th of June until the 20th of June. Its daily schedule is set to start at 9:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM. This baseball youth camp is going to take place at the scenic University of Nebraska Omaha campus. In addition, this baseball training program is open to all boys entering grade 1 to grade 8. All the training instructions are in accordance with the participant’s age and skill level. The camp registration fee is $150 per attendee. Moreover, this event is under the supervision of the University of Nebraska Omaha Mavericks baseball coaching staff. It is going to be a fun but challenging training experience.

The head coach of the University of Nebraska Omaha Mavericks baseball team is Evan Porter, an Omaha native. Coach Evan Porter is a bachelor’s degree in business marketing and a master’s degree in business administration graduate from the University of Nebraska Omaha. He is now in his second season at the helm of the Mavericks baseball program. Additionally, Coach Porter is the team’s former assistant coach. As a player, Coach Evan Porter was part of the Mavericks’ 2007 NCAA Division II College World Series team. He was also part of the Mavericks’ 2008 NCC championship team. Coach Porter is also the 23rd round pick of the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2009 Major League Baseball (MLB) Draft. Then, the University of Nebraska Omaha Mavericks assistant baseball coaches are Chris Gadsden and Brian Strawn. Coach Chris Gadsden is a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in sports administration graduate from the University of Ohio. He is now in his 19th season with the coaching staff. Meanwhile, Coach Brian Strawn is entering his second year with the Mavericks coaching staff. He is a University of Nebraska Omaha alumnus with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. And finally, the Mavericks pitching coach is Brett Swain.
