University of Central Florida Knights High School Baseball Prospect Camp

Train like a champ at the University of Central Florida Knights High School Baseball Prospect Camp. It is a two-day high-level baseball program that will run from the 25th of August until the 26th of August. The camp is open to all male baseball players in grade 9 up to Junior College. In addition, this baseball prospect camp is going to take place at the top-notch University of Central Florida Baseball Complex. The camp includes fine-tuning of hitting, catching, pitching, and fielding skills. There will also be a performance evaluation. This event is ideal for those who aspire to become a college baseball student-athlete.
 
The University of Central Florida, formerly Florida Technological University, is a public, coeducational, space-grant university in Orlando, Florida. It is a proud member of the Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA). It is also part of the State University System of Florida. The University of Central Florida is also one of the nation’s top universities. In fact, the university is 176th in the National Universities, 2017 edition of the US News and World Reports Best Colleges rankings. It is 93rd in the Top Public Schools rankings and 150th in the Business Programs rankings. Currently, the university’s total student population is around 63,000. Around 55,700 of this student population are undergraduate students. 45 percent of this undergraduate student population are male students and 55 percent are female students. This undergraduate student population is also through a selective enrollment acceptance rate of 50 percent. Correspondingly, the student to faculty ratio is 30:1. The University of Central Florida has 16 men’s and women’s intercollegiate sports teams. The university’s baseball team is competing in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division 1. Their nickname is Knights while black and gold are their identity colors. The University of Central Florida Knights baseball team is already a five-time conference regular-season champion and a six-time conference tournament champion.
 

University of Central Florida Knights High School Baseball Prospect Camp Organizers

Greg Lovelady, a native of Miami, Florida, is the head coach of the University of Central Florida Knights baseball team. He is now in his second year at the helm of the Knights baseball program. Coach Greg Lovelady is a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a minor in Sports Management graduate from the University of Miami. Ultimately, he is the 2016 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Diamond Mideast Region Coach of the Year awardee. Coach Greg Lovelady is also a two-time Horizon League Coach of the Year awardee. In just two years with the Knights, he already led the team to an AAC Regular-Season Championship. Then, the Knights assistant baseball coaches are Justin Parker, Ryan Klosterman, and Ted Tom. Coach Justin Parker is in his second season with the coaching staff. He is a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership graduate from Wright State University. Coach Ryan Klosterman who is now in his seventh season with the coaching staff is at the same time the team’s recruiting coordinator and hitting coach. He is a bachelor’s degree in human and organizational development with an emphasis in leadership and organizational effectiveness graduate from Vanderbilt University. Finally, Coach Ted Tom is a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management with minors in business and sport coaching graduate from Shawnee State University. He is also a master’s degree in athletic administration graduate from Indiana University.
