University of Arkansas Razorbacks High School Prospect Baseball Camp

The University of Arkansas Razorbacks High School Prospect Baseball Camp is an eight-hour event that will run from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM on the 18th of August. It is open to all boys in grade 9 and up who are aspiring to play at the college level. This baseball prospect camp is going to take place at the top-notch Baum Stadium at George Cole Field in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Moreover, this baseball camp will immerse the participants in a college-level training environment. There will be a pro-style workout, a 60-yard dash, games, and college recruiting talk. The baseball prospect camp registration fee is $185 per player. Available spots are limited so registration is on a first come first served basis.

University of Arkansas Razorbacks High School Prospect Baseball Camp Organizers

Leading the University of Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team is Head Coach Dave Van Horn. Coach Dave Van Horn is an alumnus of the University of Arkansas and a former college baseball player standout himself. As a matter of fact, he was a recipient of a South-West Conference (SWC) Newcomer of the Year award. Coach Dave Van Horn is now entering his 15th year at the helm of the Razorbacks baseball program. Ultimately, Coach Van Horn is the 2001 Baseball America National Coach of the Year and the 1994 NCAA Division II National Coach of the Year. He is also a two-time ABCA Midwest Region Coach of the Year and a one-time SEC Coach of the Year. Then, the Razorbacks pitching coach is Wes Johnson, an Arkansas native. Coach Wes Johnson is the newest addition to the Razorbacks baseball coaching staff. He is a bachelor’s degree in marketing graduate from the University of Arkansas Monticello. Then, Nate Thompson is the team’s assistant baseball coach. He is at the same time the team’s recruiting coordinator. Coach Nate Thompson, a native of Goodland, Kansas is a cum laude graduate of bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Dallas Baptist University.
