The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs Summer Prospect Baseball Camp will provide the perfect venue for excellent baseball players to showcase their skills. It will be a two-day event that will run from August 11 until August 12. The program will take place at the state of the art Charlie and Marie Lupton Baseball Stadium on the Texas Christian University. Moreover, this baseball camp is open to all and any male high school baseball players. Its daily schedule is tentatively set to start at 9:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM. This baseball prospect camp also gears on polishing the participants batting, catching, pitching, fielding, and base running skills. In addition, this event is an opportunity to train under the tutelage of the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs baseball coaching staff.

Leading the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs baseball team is Head Coach Jim Schlossnagle, a native of Hagerstown, Maryland. He is at the helm of the university’s baseball program since July of 2003. Coach Jim Schlossnagle is a magna cum laude graduate of Elon University with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. He is also a master’s of education in human performance and health promotion graduate from the University of New Orleans. Ultimately, Coach Jim Schlossnagle is a two-time National Coach of the Year awardee. He is also a six-time Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year awardee. The team’s associate head coach is Bill Mosiello. Coach Bill Mosiello is now in his fifth year with the coaching staff. He is a two-time Alaska Summer League Manager of the Year. Coach Mosiello is also a one-time Cape Cod Baseball League Manager of the Year. Then, the Horned Frogs assistant baseball coach is Kirk Saarloos, a California State University, Fullerton alumnus. He is already in his sixth season in the assistant coaching position. Coach Saarloos is the 2001 Big West Conference Pitcher of the Year. The volunteer assistant coach is Zach Etheredge and Meredith Montgomery is the director of baseball operations. Finally, the team’s assistant athletic trainer is Danny Wheat.
