Train like a champ at the Stony Brook University Seawolves Summer Baseball Camp. It is a five-day training program for all boys 7 to 17 years of age. The program will run from the 23rd of July until the 27th of July. It is going to take place at the scenic Stony Brook University Baseball fields. Furthermore, this baseball training program will cover fundamental skills development, position-specific skills development, games and an extra effort contest. The camp registration fee is $375 for one week. This fee includes a camp t-shirt and usage of the university’s pitching machines, batting cages, and gymnasium. In addition, all the instructions will be in accordance with the attendee’s age and skill level. A Certified Athletic Trainer will also be in the camp.

Leading the Stony Brook University Seawolves baseball team is Head Coach Matt Senk. He is a bachelor’s degree in psychology graduate from the State University of New York College at Cortland. Coach Matt Senk is also a master’s degree in physical education graduate from Adelphi University. He is now entering his 28th year at the helm of the Seawolves baseball program. Ultimately, Coach Matt Senk is the 2012 NCBWA National Coach of the Year, CollegeBaseballInsider.com Co-National Coach of the Year, and ABCA Northeast Region Coach of the Year. He is also a three-time America East Coach of the Year awardee. The team’s associate head coach is Jim Martin, a bachelor’s degree in education graduate from St. John’s University. He is now in his first year with the coaching staff. Coach Jim Martin is the former University of Rhode Island associate head coach. Then, the Seawolves assistant baseball coaches are Tyler Kavanaugh and Jon Lewis. Coach Tyler Kavanaugh is a Kenyon College alumnus with a degree in psychology. He is also a master’s degree in health and physical education graduate from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Meanwhile, Coach Jon Lewis is at the same time the team’s pitching coach.
