Stanford University Four-Day Baseball Summer Camp

From the 12th of July until the 15th of July the Stanford University Four-Day Baseball Summer Camp will take place at the state of the art Klein Field at Sunken Diamond. This baseball summer camp is a high level coaching and training experience that is open to all boys in the graduating classes of 2019, 2020 and 2021. The camp will run from 8:30 AM on Day 1 until 4:00 PM on Day 4. Meanwhile, check-in will start at 4:00 PM on the first day. It is going to be a fun and challenging atmosphere that is both instructional and informational. It will cover development on hitting, throwing, fielding, base running, and catching techniques. The program also emphasizes eye and hand coordination improvement. Furthermore, this advanced baseball summer camp provides an opportunity for outstanding players to showcase their skills. Coaches from other top Junior College and Division 1 teams will also join and facilitate the program. The camp is open to both overnight and day campers. Overall, the program is great for those who aspire to pursue playing at the college level.

Stanford University Four-Day Baseball Summer Camp Organizers

Leading the camp is Stanford Cardinals’ men’s college baseball head coach David Esquer. He is the 2011 National Coach of the Year and the 2001 Pac-10 Coach of the Year. In addition, Coach David Esquer has already five NCAA Regionals and one  College World Series titles under his resume. Coach David Esquer is also a former standout baseball, basketball, and football athlete. He is a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in sociology graduate from Stanford University. Then, the Cardinals assistant baseball coaches are Thomas Eager and Tommy Nicholson. Both assistant coaches are entering their first year with the Stanford Cardinals’ men’s college baseball coaching staff. Moreover, Coach Eager is a bachelor of science degree in business management graduate from the University of Phoenix while Coach Nicholson is a University of Texas at Austin alumnus. The Cardinals’ volunteer assistant coach is Jack Marder. Kevin Bills is the technical coordinator. He is at the same time the team’s video coordinator. And finally, the Stanford Cardinals’ director of baseball operations is Jeanette Morganti.
