The South Dakota State University Jackrabbits Baseball Senior Prospect Camp is for all high school male baseball players in the graduating class of 2019. It is a single-day event that will run from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM on the 18th of August. It is going to take place at the state of the art Erv Huether Field which is on the South Dakota State University campus. Furthermore, the camp is open to both position players and pitchers. The registration fee includes a free camp t-shirt. The program is also requiring the participants to bring all the necessary baseball gears and equipment. Rob Bishop is the head coach of the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits baseball team. He is now in his second year at the helm of the Jackrabbits baseball program. Coach Rob Bishop is an alumnus of Jamestown College. Overall, Coach Rob Bishop is now holding a college coaching win-loss record of 575-346-1. During his college years, Coach Bishop was also a standout baseball player himself. In fact, he is a two-time NAIA All-America team selection. Then, the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits assistant baseball coach is Brian Grunzke, a native of Minnesota Lake, Minnesota. He is a bachelor’s degree graduate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Coach Brian Grunzke is also an associate of arts degree graduate from Waldorf University. He is with the Jackrabbits coaching staff since the 2012 season. Moreover, the team’s pitching coach is Mitch Mormann. Coach Mormann is a bachelor’s degree in sports management graduate from Wichita State University. He is now in his second year with the coaching staff. Coach Mormann also played professional baseball with the Normal Cornbelters of the Frontier League. And finally, the Jackrabbits volunteer assistant baseball coach is Danny Higginbotham.
