Siena College Saints Five-Day Summer Baseball Camp

The Siena College Saints Five-Day Summer Baseball Camp will run from the 30th of July until the 3rd of August. Its daily schedule is set to run from 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM. The training program includes strength and conditioning discussion, offensive and defensive drills, and competitive games. Furthermore, this five-day event is going to take place at the beautiful Siena College campus. This training program is available to all and any boys 8 to 17 years of age at any skill level. Instructions will be according to the attendee’s age and skill level. In addition, this baseball camp is under the direction of the Siena College Saints baseball coaching staff.
 
Siena College is a private, independent, coeducational, liberal arts college in Albany, New York. It is formerly known as formerly St. Bernadine of Siena College. Its name is in honor of Saint Bernardino of Siena, a prominent 15th-century Italian priest and Franciscan missionary. Siena College is an affiliation of the Association of Franciscan Colleges and Universities (AFCU) and the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC). It is also part of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) and the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU). Currently, Siena College is serving around 3,200 undergraduate students. The undergraduate student population is with a 48 percent male and 52 percent female students gender distribution. It is also through a selective enrollment acceptance rate of 60 percent. Correspondingly, the college’s student to faculty ratio is 12:1. In sports, Siena College’s intercollegiate men’s and women’s teams are competing in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I. They are the Saints and green and gold are their official colors.
 

Siena College Saints Five-Day Summer Baseball Camp Organizers

The head coach of the Siena College Saints baseball team is Tony Rossi, a Brockport State College alumnus. He is now in his astounding 49th season at the helm of the Saints baseball program. Coach Tony Rossi is a six-time MAAC Coach of the Year awardee. Ultimately, under Coach Tony Rossi’s leadership, the Saints has already four MAAC regular-season championships and five MAAC Tournament championships. He is now holding a career 869-1046-8 win-loss record. Then, the Saints assistant baseball coaches are Steve Adkins and Dave Yamane. Coach Steve Adkins, a native of Elmhurst, Illinois, is now in his second season with the coaching staff. He is a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education graduate from Bradley University. Coach Steve Adkins is the recipient of the 2013 Bradley Athletics Carl Grose Community Service Award and the 2013 Phil Kaiser Memorial Award for Leadership. Similarly, Coach Dave Yamane is also entering his second season with the coaching staff. Coach Yamane is a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication graduate from the University of Washington. He is also a master’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Sport Psychology graduate from Cal State Fullerton. Finally, Anthony Spataro is the Saints volunteer assistant coach.
