Come and join the Santa Clara University Broncos Summer Baseball Academy from the 18th of June until the 22nd of June. It is an opportunity to train and learn from one of the nation’s top collegiate baseball coaching staff. This five-day baseball training program will take place at the leading-edge Stephen Schott Stadium, the home of the Santa Clara Broncos baseball team. In addition, this training program includes development drills on hitting and pitching. There will also be offensive and defensive showcases. The players will also be participating in video analysis and college recruiting discussion. Moreover, this event is an initiative of the Santa Clara University Broncos baseball coaching staff. The training camp costs $400.00 per camper. It is available to all and any boys 6 to 14 years of age. Overall, it will be a physically demanding but fun training atmosphere.

Head Coach Rusty Filter is leading the Santa Clara University Broncos baseball team. He is a bachelor’s degree in physical education graduate from San Diego State University. Coach Rusty Filter is a former standout pitcher. He is the 35th round pick of the Toronto Blue Jays in the 1990 Major League Baseball Draft. Then, the Broncos assistant baseball coaches are Jon Karcich, B.K. Santy, and Greg Gonzalez. Coach Jon Karcich, a native of Belmont, California is a Santa Clara University alumnus with a degree in communications. He is in his first year with the coaching staff. Coach Karcich is the 2006 San Francisco Chronicle Player of the Year. Coach B.K. Santy, on the other hand, is a native of San Diego, California. He is a bachelor’s degree in history graduate from the University of Washington. He is also a master’s degree in education graduate from East Central University. Additionally, Coach Santy is the Arizona Diamondbacks’ seventh-round pick in the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft. Finally, Coach Greg Gonzalez is an alumnus of Fresno State with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. He is also a masters in kinesiology holder from St. Mary’s College.
