San Jose State University Spartans Baseball Prospect Camp

The San Jose State University Spartans Baseball Prospect Camp is for all high school male baseball players who are aspiring to play at the college level. This baseball camp is set to run from 9:30 AM until 3:30 PM on the 10th of September. It is going to take place at the leading-edge Municipal Stadium which is the home of the San Jose Giants of the Minor League. Moreover, this full-day baseball camp includes offensive and defensive evaluation and live games. The camp registration fee is $150 per player. The attendees are advised to bring their own baseball bat, hat, pants, gloves, helmet, cleats, and sneakers. Overall, this baseball prospect camp is going to physically demanding but enjoyable.

San Jose State University Spartans Baseball Prospect Camp Organizers

The head coach of the San Jose State University Spartans is Brad Sanfilippo. He is an alumnus of the University of California, Davis. Coach Brad Sanfilippo is the team’s former interim head coach. Additionally, Coach Brad Sanfilippo is an inductee into the Los Gatos High School Hall of Fame. He led the Los Gatos High into four El Camino League titles. Coach Brad Sanfilippo is now entering his second season at the helm of the San Jose State University Spartan baseball program. Then, the Spartans assistant baseball coach is Tyler LaTorre, a native of Santa Cruz, California. He is also an alumnus of the University of California, Davis with a degree in communications, and a minor in education. At the same time, he is the team’s recruiting coordinator. Coach Tyler LaTorre is a former member of the Italian National Team. Finally, the Spartans volunteer assistant coaches are Clay Cederquist and Michael Breen. Coach Clay Cederquist is a master’s degree in communication studies graduate from Sacramento State University. On the other hand, Coach Michael Breen who hails from Hollister, California, is a San Jose State University graduate.
