The Saint Joseph’s University Hawks Baseball Prospect Camp will provide training sessions for pitchers, catchers, shortstoppers, first basemen, third basemen, outfielders, and second basemen. The camp registration fee is $150 and $175 for two-way players. It is a single day event that will on the 16th of August. Additionally, this baseball prospect camp is going to take place at the top-notch Smithson Field which is on the Saint Joseph’s University campus. The program is open to all boys entering grade 9 to grade 12. The program is especially for those who desire to play baseball at the college level. It is set to start at 8:30 AM and end at 5:00 PM.

Fritz Hamburg, a native of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, is the head coach of the Saint Joseph’s University Hawks baseball team. He is now entering his 10th season at the helm of the Hawks baseball program. Coach Fritz Hamburg is an alumnus of Ithaca, College. Ultimately, Coach Fritz Hamburg is a four-time Big 5 Coach of the Year awardee. He is also the 2007 Baseball America/American Baseball Coaches Association Assistant Coach of the Year awardee. Under his leadership, the Saint Joseph’s Hawks have already three Liberty Bell Classic titles and three Big 5 Team of the Year awards. Then, the Hawks assistant baseball coaches are Matt Allison, Ryan Wheeler, and Pete O’Hara. Coach Matt Allison is now in his sixth season with the Hawks coaching staff. He is a bachelor’s degree graduate from the University of California, Riverside and a master’s degree graduate from the University of Syracuse. Coach Ryan Wheeler is now in his third season with the coaching staff. At the same time, he is the team’s recruiting coordinator. Coach Ryan Wheeler is a bachelor’s degree graduate from Pennsylvania State University. Coach Pete O’Hara, an alumnus of Delaware Valley College, is the new addition to the Hawks baseball coaching staff. And finally, Greg Manco is the team’s director of baseball operations.
