The Pennsylvania State University Nittany Lions Baseball Prospect Camp is a whole-day event that will fall on the 22nd of June. It is for all and any high school boys with a strong interest in playing at the college level. The training program is going to take place at the top-notch Medlar Field at Lubrano Park which is the home of the Pennsylvania State University Nittany Lions baseball team. Moreover, this baseball prospect camp includes skills development instructions and pro-style workout. The registration fee is $190 per camper which does not lunch. The program is set tentatively to start at 8:15 AM and end at 3:30 PM. It is an initiative of the Pennsylvania State University Nittany Lions baseball coaching staff. Furthermore, the attendees need bring their own baseball bat, glove, cap, sweatpants, and helmet. It is going to be a fun day of baseball.

Leading the Pennsylvania State University Nittany Lions baseball team is Head Coach Rob Cooper. Coach Rob Cooper is now in his fifth year at the helm of the Nittany Lions baseball program. He is a bachelor’s degree in psychology graduate from the University of Miami. It is also where he earned his master’s degree in sports sciences/administration. In addition, Coach Rob Cooper is a recipient of the Rod Dedeaux USA Baseball Coach of the Year Award. He is also a two-time Horizon League Coach of the Year awardee. The Nittany Lions assistant baseball coaches are Josh Newman and Andre Butler. Coach Josh Morgan also the team’s pitching coach is a native of Wheelersburg, Ohio. He is a bachelor’s degree in history graduate from the Ohio State University. Coach Josh Morgan is also the 19th round of the Colorado Rockies in the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft. On the other hand, Coach Andre Butler is a bachelor’s degree in secondary education graduate from Eastern University. Coach Andre Butler, a Philadelphia native, is now in his third season with the Nittany Lions baseball coaching staff.
