Mount Saint Mary’s University Mountaineers Baseball Summer Camp

The Mount Saint Mary’s University Mountaineers Baseball Summer Camp is both an overnight and commuter camp that will run from the 22nd of July until the 25th of July. This four-day summer baseball camp is inviting all boys 13 to 18 years of age who are serious about taking their game to the next level. This training program is going to take place at the top-notch E.T. Straw Family Baseball Stadium which is on the Mount Saint Mary’s University campus. Furthermore, this summer baseball camp includes skill development drills, swimming, and games. It is also a venue to display outstanding baseball skills. Moreover, the camp registration fee is $450 for overnight campers and $315 for commuter campers. It will be under the supervision of the Mountaineers baseball coaching staff.
 
Mount Saint Mary’s University is a private, coeducational, Catholic, liberal arts university in Emmitsburg, Maryland. The university is a member of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU) and the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC). It is also an affiliation of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU). Additionally, the Mount Saint Mary’s University comprises 4 colleges, namely, the College of Liberal Arts, the Richard J. Bolte School of Business, the School of Education and Human Services, and the School of Natural Science and Mathematics. In sports, the university fields its intercollegiate teams in the Northeast Conference (NEC) and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I. Mount Saint Mary’s University Mountaineers Baseball Summer Camp Organizers

Leading the Mount Saint Mary’s University Mountaineers baseball team is Head Coach Scott Thomson. He is now entering his 21st season at the helm of the Mountaineers baseball program. Coach Scott Thomson is a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education graduate from Western Maryland College. Ultimately, Coach Scott Thomson is the 2007 NEC Coach of the Year awardee. This was after he led the Mountaineers to its first NEC title. Coach Thomson is also a former Virginia College Player of the Year and a former Maryland High School Player of the Year. Then, the Mountaineers assistant baseball coaches are Ivor Hodgson, Kyle Kane, and Jeff Gergic. Coach Ivor Hodgson is now entering his third season with the coaching staff. He is an alumnus of Mount Saint Mary’s University and a standout baseball player himself. Coach Hodgson is also a Gatorade Player of the Year and Louisville Slugger Player of the Year awardee during his high school years. Meanwhile, both Coach Kyle Kane and Coach Jeff Gergic are in their first season with the coaching staff.
