The Missouri State University Bears Summer Baseball Camp is a two-day training program that will fall on June 5 and June 6. It is inviting all boys 7 to 14 years of age who are looking to develop and learn baseball skill through a fun learning environment. This baseball summer camp is going to take place at the scenic Missouri State University campus. Furthermore, the program aims at developing hitting, sliding, fielding, baserunning, catching, throwing, and individual position skills. All the instructions are in accordance with the participant’s age and skill level. The program is set to run daily from 8:30 AM until 1:00 PM. In addition, the camp registration fee which includes a camp t-shirt or hat is $100 per player.

Head Coach Keith Guttin, a native of University City, Missouri, is leading the Missouri State University Bears baseball team. He is a bachelor’s degree graduate from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a master’s degree graduate from Truman State University. Coach Keith Guttin is now in his astounding 35th year at the helm of the Bears baseball program. Ultimately, Coach Keith Guttin is a five-time Summit League Coach of the Year awardee and a seven-time Missouri Valley Conference Coach of the Year awardee. He is also a two-time American Baseball Coaches Association Division I Midwest Region Coach of the Year. Under his leadership, the Missouri State University Bears baseball team has already 10 conference tournament titles. Then, the Bears assistant baseball coaches are Paul Evans and Matt Lawson. Coach Paul Evans is now entering his 30th year with the coaching staff. He is an alumnus of Southern Illinois University. Coach Evans is the 2015 D1Baseball.com’s National Assistant Coach of the Year awardee. Moreover, Coach Matt Lawson is a new addition to the Bears baseball coaching staff. He is a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in sports management graduate from Missouri State. And finally, the team’s volunteer assistant coach is Joe Lincoln.
