Join the Middlebury College Panthers Advanced Skills Baseball Clinic. It is a high-level baseball training program that will run from 10 o’clock in the morning on the 16th of June until 4 o’clock in the afternoon on the 17th of June. The venue of this event is the top-notch Forbes Field which is on the Middlebury College campus. This program is open to all and any high school male baseball players. Additionally, the camp is only offering 30 available spots so registration is on a first come first serve basis. The registration fee which $200 per camper for a single day and $300 for both days. This includes a free camp t-shirt. Furthermore, this baseball clinic includes defensive and offensive workouts, pitching, batting, and base running drills. There will also be competitive games. Admission to this camp is in accordance with the NCAA rules. Overall, the experience will be challenging and enjoyable. It will be under the direction of the Middlebury College Panthers baseball coaching staff and current players.

The head coach of the Middlebury College Panthers baseball team is Mike Leonard. He is now in his second year at the helm of the Panthers baseball program. Coach Mike Leonard is a bachelor’s degree in political science graduate from the University of Connecticut. He is also a master of education degree earner from St. Lawrence College. In addition, Coach Mike Leonard is a former baseball standout player himself. In fact, he is a Connecticut Gatorade Player of the Year and Hartford Courant Player of the Year. Coach Leonard is also an inductee to the Rockville High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Then, the Middlebury College Panthers assistant baseball coaches are Mike Phelps and David Vandercook. Coach Mike Phelps, a Middlebury native, is now in his 13th season with the Panthers coaching staff. He is the teams hitting and infield coach as well as the team’s recruiting coordinator. Coach Phelps is the recipient of the 2017 New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association’s Kevin Burr Assistant Coach Award. Finally, Coach Phelps is a bachelor’s degree in sports administration and a minor in business graduate from Castleton University.
