The Messiah College Falcons Summer Prospect Baseball Camp is a high-level and fast-paced training program that will fall on the 16th of June. It is going to run from 10 o’clock in the morning until 5 o’clock in the afternoon. The venue of this prospect baseball camp is the top-notch Starry Athletic Complex which is on the Messiah College campus. Moreover, this whole-day event is providing an opportunity for excellent baseball players to showcase their skills in front of the college’s recruiting staff. The camp registration fee is $125 per player. The registrants are required to come with their own baseball bat, gloves, helmet, cleats, sneakers, pants, hat, and gear. In addition, this training program will be under the direction of the Messiah College Falcons baseball coaching staff.
Messiah College, originally Messiah Bible School and Missionary Training Home, is a private, coeducational, Christian, liberal arts college in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Its founder is the Brethren in Christ Church also known as the River Brethren and River Mennonites. Currently, it is serving around 2,800 undergraduate students and around 500 postgraduate students. The undergraduate student population has a 39 percent male and 61 percent female students gender distribution. It is also through a selective enrollment acceptance rate of 80 percent. Correspondingly, Messiah College’s student to faculty ratio is 13:1. Messia College is a member of the Christian College Consortium (CCC). Furthermore, in the 2018 edition of the US News and World Reports Best Colleges rankings, Messiah College is 4th in the Regional Colleges North category. It is also number one in the Best Colleges for Veterans category and number 3 in the Best Value Schools category. In addition, Messiah College’s intercollegiate men’s and women’s athletic teams are competing in the Middle Atlantic Conferences (MAC) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III. Messiah College Falcons Summer Prospect Baseball Camp Organizers
Pat Lightle is the head coach of the Messiah College Falcons baseball team. He is an alumnus of Coastal Carolina University. Coach Pat Lightle is now in his sixth season at the helm of the Falcons baseball program. He is the former Southwestern Michigan College head baseball coach. Ultimately, Coach Pat Lightle is the 1988 Regional Coach of the Year awardee. Coach Lightle is now holding a 64-57 win-loss record as the Messiah College Falcons head coach and had an 80-37 record with the Southwestern Michigan College SMC. Then, the Falcons assistant baseball coaches are Colton Keister, John Hollenbach, and Dean Peterson. Coach Colton Keister is a Messiah College alumnus. The team’s graduate assistant coach is Joseph Saufley, another Messiah College graduate who is presently completing his Master’s of Higher Education with a concentration in College Athletics Leadership. Coach Joseph Saufley is now in his second year with the coaching staff. Coach Joseph Saufley is a college baseball player standout himself. In fact, he is a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American First Team selection. Macy Randall and Haley Warner are the Falcons student assistant coaches. Josh Good is the coaching intern and Mike Russ is the mental training coach. And finally, the team’s head athletic trainer is Jeremy Kauffman.

The Messiah College Falcons Summer Prospect Baseball Camp is inviting all high school male baseball players who are aspiring to play at the collegiate level. It is a full-day training program that will run from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM on the 16th of June. It is going to take place at the state-of-the-art Starry Athletic Complex, Messiah College Baseball Field.
