Louisiana State University Tigers Baseball Showcase Camp

The Louisiana State University Tigers Baseball Showcase Camp will run from 9 o’clock in the morning until 2 o’clock in the afternoon on the 11th of August. It is going to take place at the Alex Box Stadium, the home field of the Louisiana State University Tigers baseball team. This baseball showcase camp is open to all high school baseball players who aspire to play at the college level. Additionally, the registration fee for this event is $179 for pitchers and  $289 for two-way players. Check-in starts at 8:30 AM. This training program includes a 60-yard dash, batting practice, and a defensive work out. There will also be a 12-inning game that will allow the players to showcase their exceptional skills in front of the Louisiana State University Tigers baseball coaching staff. Overall, it will be a competitive and fun training atmosphere.

Louisiana State University Tigers Baseball Showcase Camp Organizers

Leading the Louisiana State University Tigers baseball team is Head Coach Paul Mainieri, a native of Miami, Florida. Coach Paul Mainieri is an alumnus of the Florida International University. He is a four-time National Coach of the Year and a two-time Southeastern Conference Coach of the Year. Additionally, Coach Paul Mainieri is an inductee into the American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. He already has an NCAA National title under his illustrious head coaching resume. The Tigers associate head coach is Alan Dunn, the 2015 National Pitching Coach of the Year awardee. Coach Alan Dunn, a native of Gadsden, Alabama, is a bachelor’s of science degree in physical education graduate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is now in his seventh season with the Louisiana State University Tigers baseball coaching staff. Then, the team’s assistant baseball coach is Nolan Cain. Coach Nolan Cain who hails from Cantonment, Florida is at the same time the team’s recruiting coordinator. He is an alumnus of the Louisiana State University. Sean Ochinko is the volunteer assistant coach and Micah Gibbs is the director of player development. Finally, Nate Fury is the director of baseball operations.
