The Lamar University Cardinals Baseball Showcase Day Camp will fall on the 25th of August. It is going to take place at the leading-edge Vincent-Beck Stadium which is on the Lamar University campus in Beaumont, Texas. This baseball showcase camp is inviting all boys entering grade 9 to grade 12 who desire to play at the college level. Furthermore, the program will incorporate a 60-yard dash, bullpens, batting practice, skills evaluation, and drills. The camp registration fee is $50 for pitchers, $150 for position players, and $175 for two-way players. The program is set to start at 9 o’clock in the morning. Lamar University Cardinals Baseball Showcase Day Camp Organizers
Will Davis, a native of Baton Rouge, Lousiana, is the head coach of the Lamar University Cardinals baseball team. He is bachelor’s degree in secondary education graduate and a master’s degree in kinesiology graduate from Louisiana State University. Coach Will Davis is now in his second season at the reins of the Lamar Cardinals baseball program. Additionally, Coach Davis helped the Cardinals to an NCAA Regionals and a fourth seed in the Southland Conference Tournament finish in the 2016 season. Coach Will Davis is the former Louisiana State University director of baseball operations. Then, the Lamar Cardinals hitting coach as well as recruiting coordinator is Scott Hatten. Coach Scott Hatten, a Lamar University alumnus, is now in his 18th season with the Cardinals coaching staff. He is a native of Levittown, New York. Moreover, the Cardinals pitching coach is Sean Snedeker. Coach Sean Snedeker is the newest addition to the Cardinals coaching staff. He is both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in kinesiology graduate from Texas A&M University. Coach Snedeker is also a former Chicago White Sox pitching coach. The Cardinals volunteer assistant coach is Jon Phillips and the director of player personnel is Justin Eckols. Connor Thomas and Jake Nash are the graduate managers. Finally, Chris Messina and Braxton Boudoin are the student managers.
