The Lafayette College Leopards Baseball Summer Prospect Camp is a whole-day program that will run from 9 o’clock in the morning until 4 o’clock in the afternoon on the 10th of June. It is open to all and any high school baseball players entering grade 11 to grade 12. The camp is ideal for those who aspire to play at the collegiate level. Furthermore, this baseball prospect camp will take place at the Kamine Stadium, Morel Field House, and Kamine Varsity House. All in Lafayette College’s Metzgar Athletic Campus. The training program will cover drills and sessions that will develop and improve foundation and balance and hand and eye coordination. It also includes hitting, bunting, pitching techniques, catching, infield play, outfield play, base running drills. In addition, this event is an opportunity to train under the direction of the Lafayette College Leopards baseball coaching staff and current student-athletes. The participants are going to receive valuable assessment and evaluation at the conclusion of the event. The registration fee is $150 per camper.

Lafayette College Leopards Baseball Summer Prospect Camp Organizers
Head Coach Joe Kinney, a native of Maplewood, New Jersey, is leading the Lafayette College Leopards baseball team. He is now in his 19th season at the helm of the college’s baseball program. Coach Joe Kinney is a bachelor’s degree in Economics graduate from Lehigh University. Additionally, is the 2007 Patriot League Coach of the Year awardee. Under his leadership, the Leopards has already five Patriot League Tournament appearances. Then, the team’s assistant baseball coaches are Gregg Durrah and Tim Reilly. Coach Gregg Durrah is also now in his 19th season with the coaching staff. He is a bachelor’s degree in Business Management graduate from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Meanwhile, Coach Tim Reilly, a native of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, is in his first season with the Leopards coaching staff. The Rutgers University alumnus is the founder of the Catching College LLC. The volunteer assistant coach is Andrew Dickson an alumnus of Brescia University. He is also in his first year with the coaching staff. And finally, Gary Gordon is the Leopards faculty mentor.
