Johns Hopkins University Blue Jays Baseball Summer Camp

Learn from the professionals at the Johns Hopkins University Blue Jays Baseball Summer Camp. It will run from 8:00 AM until 5:30 PM on the 15th of July. The venue of this event is the top-notch Babb Field at Stromberg Stadium which is on the Johns Hopkins University campus. This program is open to all male high school baseball players with a strong desire to play at the collegiate level. In addition, this full-day baseball camp incorporates skill development drills and position work. Participants will also be able to play in highly competitive actual games. The participants will also receive a performance evaluation at the end of the training program. Furthermore, this event is available for $260 per camper. The registration fee includes a free camp t-shirt.

Johns Hopkins University Blue Jays Baseball Summer Camp Organizers

Head Coach Bob Babb is now in his 39th year at the reins of the Johns Hopkins University Blue Jays baseball program. He is a Johns Hopkins alumnus and has earned his master’s degree from Morgan State University. Additionally, Coach Bob Babb is an inductee to the American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Under his leadership, the Blue Jays have their second College World Series appearance in 2008. Moreover, the Blue Jays associate baseball head coach is Jonas Fester. Coach Jonas Fester, a Dallas, Texas native, is now in his seventh season with the coaching staff. He is also an alumnus of the Johns Hopkins University. The team’s assistant baseball coaches are Gabriel Castellano, Adam Schlenoff, Denny Cox, and Andrew Furman. Coach Castellano is a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences graduate from Texas Tech University. Additionally, he is also a master’s degree in Sports and Leisure Management graduate from Texas State University-San Marcos. Coach Adam Schlenoff is a bachelors degree in rhetoric and communication graduate from Mount St. Mary’s College. Meanwhile, Coach Andrew Furman is a Gettysburg College alumnus with a bachelor’s degrees in psychology and philosophy. Finally, Coach Denny Cox is the former Blue Jays head coach.
