James Madison University Dukes Baseball Summer Prospect Camp

The James Madison University Dukes Baseball Summer Prospect Camp will provide the perfect venue for exceptional baseball players who aspire to play at the college level to showcase their skills. It is a two-day event that will run from the 9th of June until the 10th of June. It is inviting all male baseball players 14 to 21 years of age. Additionally, this baseball prospect camp is going to take place at the state of the art Veterans Memorial Park which is on James Madison University campus. The registration fee for this elite baseball prospect camp is $270 per player. Moreover, the program also includes development sessions on hitting, batting, base running, fielding, and catching skills. The event will be under the direction of the James Madison University Diamond Dukes baseball coaching staff. Overall, it is going to be a fun, competitive, and motivational training experience.

James Madison University Dukes Baseball Summer Prospect Camp Organizers

Leading the James Madison University Diamond Dukes baseball team since June of 2015 is Head Coach Marlin Ikenberry. Coach Marlin Ikenberry, a native of Richmond, Virginia, is the former Virginia Military Institute head baseball coach. He also had an assistant coaching stint at William and Mary College. In addition, Coach Marlin Ikenberry is an alumnus of the Virginia Military Institute. Then, the Diamond Dukes assistant baseball coaches are Alex Guerra and Jimmy Jackson. Coach Alex Guerra, a native of Wantagh, New York, is at the same time the team’s recruiting coordinator. He is an alumnus of the Greensboro College. Coach Alex Guerra is now in his third season with the coaching staff. On the other hand, Coach Jimmy Jackson is a Shepherd University graduate. The Glen Burnie, Maryland native, is also in his third year with the coaching staff. He is at the same time the team’s pitching coach. The Diamond Dukes volunteer assistant coach is Daniel Bowman and the athletic trainer is Jonathan Leonard. Robbie Ormsby is the strength and conditioning coach and Scott Arbogast is the academic advisor.
