Leading the James Madison University Diamond Dukes baseball team since June of 2015 is Head Coach Marlin Ikenberry. Coach Marlin Ikenberry, a native of Richmond, Virginia, is the former Virginia Military Institute head baseball coach. He also had an assistant coaching stint at William and Mary College. In addition, Coach Marlin Ikenberry is an alumnus of the Virginia Military Institute. Then, the Diamond Dukes assistant baseball coaches are Alex Guerra and Jimmy Jackson. Coach Alex Guerra, a native of Wantagh, New York, is at the same time the team’s recruiting coordinator. He is an alumnus of the Greensboro College. Coach Alex Guerra is now in his third season with the coaching staff. On the other hand, Coach Jimmy Jackson is a Shepherd University graduate. The Glen Burnie, Maryland native, is also in his third year with the coaching staff. He is at the same time the team’s pitching coach.
