The High Point University Panthers Baseball Prospect Camp will provide an opportunity for exceptional baseball players to showcase their skills in front of the university’s recruiting staff. It is a full-day high-level training program that will run from 9 o’clock in the morning until 5 o’clock in the afternoon on the 25th of July. It is going to take place in the state of the art Willard Stadium which is on the High Point University campus. Furthermore, this baseball prospect camp is open to all male baseball players 13 to 18 years of age who desire to take their game to the collegiate level. The camp registration fee is $150 per player. Overall, it will be a competitive but enjoyable training experience.
High Point University, formerly High Point College, is a private, coeducational, liberal arts university in High Point, North Carolina. It is a member of the International Association of Methodist-related Schools, Colleges, and Universities (IAMSCU). The university is also part of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU). High Point University is a top-performing academic institution. As a matter of fact, it is 1st in the Regional Colleges South category of the 2018 edition of the US News and World Reports Best Colleges rankings. High Point University Panthers Baseball Prospect Camp Organizers
Head Coach Craig Cozart is leading the High Point University Panthers baseball team. He is a bachelor’s degree in education graduate from the University of Central Florida. Coach Craig Cozart is now in his 10th season at the reins of the Panthers baseball program. Coach Cozart is the former University of Central Florida Knights associate head coach. He was an exceptional pitcher during his college playing year. In fact, Coach Craig Cozart was a second-team All-Atlantic Sun selection and the 45th round pick of the Atlanta Braves in the 1995 Major League Baseball (MLB) Draft. Then, the High Point University Panthers assistant baseball coaches are Jason Laws and Rick Marlin. Coach Jason Laws is with the Panthers’ coaching staff since August of 2014. He is a bachelor’s degree graduate from Murray State University. Coach Jason Laws is also a master’s degree in Sport and Recreation Studies graduate from South Dakota State University. At the same time, Coach Jason Laws is the Panthers recruiting coordinator. Coach Rick Marlin is a bachelor’s degree in Crime, Law, and Justice graduate from Pennsylvania State University. He is in his first year with the coaching staff. The team’s volunteer assistant coach is Chris Fenisey. And finally, Sara Barlok is the director of baseball operations.
