The Haverford College Fords Baseball Skills Summer Camp is a week-long event from July 9 until July 13. It is going to take place at the state of the art Kannerstein Field which is on the Haverford College campus. This baseball training camp is open to all any boys 7 to 12 years old. Additionally, this program will cover offensive station drills, defensive station drills, and stretching. The participants are going to play competitive and fun controlled games. The programs daily schedule is set to start at 8:30 AM and end at 3:30 PM. Moreover, this event is an initiative of the Haverford College Fords baseball coaching staff. The registration fee which is $275.00 includes a camp t-shirt and a supplementary insurance. Another schedule of the same training program is set to run from July 16 until July 20. Overall, it will be a motivational experience and an opportunity to train under the tutelage of a top college baseball coaching staff.

Haverford College Fords Baseball Skills Summer Camp Organizers
Leading the Haverford College Fords baseball program is Head Coach Dave Beccaria. He is now in his 18th season at the helm of the college’s baseball program. Coach Dave Beccaria is at the same time Haverford College’s Assistant Athletic Director, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Liaison, Community Service and Recruiting Coordinator. Additionally, under his leadership, the Fords have already 12 Centennial Conference Tournament appearances, three Centennial Conference Championships, and seven Centennial Conference Championships appearances. Coach Beccaria is also part of the American Baseball Coaches Association. Then, the Fords assistant baseball coaches are Nat Ballenberg, Dan Crowley, Kevin Morgan, William Bannard, and John Blankstein. Coach Nat Ballenberg, a Haverford alumnus, is at the same time the college’s Assistant Fitness Center Director and Strength and Conditioning Coach. Coach Dan Crowley, also a Haverford alumnus, is now in his 18th season with the Fords coaching staff. Furthermore, Coach Kevin Morgan is a master’s degree in education graduate from Harvard University. He is also the founder and the director of SportsChallenge. Coach William Bannard, another Haverford College alumnus, is now in his third season with the coaching staff. Coach Bannard is the 2014 Centennial Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player. Finally, John Blankstein, a Tufts University alumnus, is now in his second season with the coaching staff.
