The Gordon College Fighting Scots Baseball Day Summer Camp five-day event that will run from the 6th of August until the 10th of August. It is going to take place at the J Tec White Field on the Gordon College campus, which is among the nation’s top baseball facilities. This baseball camp is open to all boys 6 to 13 years of age at any skill level. Moreover, this baseball training program’s daily schedule is set to start at 9:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM on Day 1 to Day 4 and from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Day 5. The program will cover developmental drills for hitting, pitching, catching, baserunning, infield play, and outfield play skills. Gordon College Fighting Scots Baseball Day Summer Camp Organizers
Leading the Gordon College Fighting Scots baseball team is Head Coach Rob Mansfield, a native of Wall, New Jersey. He is also the college’s Admissions Liaison. Coach Rob Mansfield is now in his fourth season at the helm of the Gordon College Fighting Scots baseball program. In addition, Coach Rob Mansfield, an alumnus of Gordon College has already led the Fighting Scots into two Commonwealth Coast Conference playoffs appearances. The Fighting Scots assistant baseball coaches are Todd Alford, Jesse Amaya, and Alex Smith. Coach Todd Alford, a University of South Alabama graduate, is now in his second season with the coaching staff. At the same time, he is the team’s pitching coach. Coach Todd Alford is former junior college National Coach of the Year awardee. Presently, he is also the head coach of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League’s North Shore Navigators. Coach Jesse Amaya, a Gordon College alumnus is also a North Shore Navigators assistant baseball coach. He is also the former Salem High School assistant coach. Finally, Coach Alex Smith, a native of Wethersfield, Connecticut is a former Gordon College Fighting Scots college baseball standout.
