Furman University Paladins Baseball High School Prospect Camp

The Furman University Paladins Baseball High School Prospect Camp is inviting all high school and Junior College baseball players. It is especially for those who have a strong desire to play at the college level. This event is going to take place at the beautiful and leading-edge Paladin Baseball Stadium. Moreover, this baseball prospect camp is going to run from the 12th of June until the 13th of June. The training program will include hitting, defense, pitching, and base running instructions. It will also allow the participants to experience a collegiate level game atmosphere. In addition, this baseball event is available for $230 per camper or $195 for a group of eight campers. It is very important to note that the participants are responsible to bring and look after their baseball gears and equipment. Furthermore, running this two-day baseball prospect camp is the Furman University Paladins baseball coaching staff and current players. Overall, the program is going to be a challenging but fun experience.
 
Furman University, originally Furman Academy and Theological Institution, is a private, coeducational, liberal arts university in Greenville, South Carolina. It is the oldest learning institution in the state of South Carolina. Its name is in honor of Richard Furman, a prominent Baptist Church Pastor. The university is an affiliation of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities and the Council of Independent Colleges. Moreover, it is also part of the Annapolis Group and the Oberlin Group. Furman University is 53rd in the National Liberal Arts Colleges, 2018 edition of the US News and World Reports’ Best Colleges rankings. It is also 74th in the Best Value Schools rankings and 13th in the Most Innovative Schools rankings. Currently, Furman University accommodates around 2,700 undergraduate students. It also has 20 intercollegiate men’s and women’s varsity teams. They call themselves the Paladins. Their home field is the Latham Baseball Stadium.
 

Furman University Paladins Baseball High School Prospect Camp Organizers

Head Coach Brett Harker, a native of a Greenville, South Carolina, is leading the Furman University Paladins baseball team since July of 2016. Coach Harker is a bachelor’s degree in communications graduate from the College of Charleston. Additionally, Coach Brett Harker is the 2002 North Carolina/South Carolina All-Star Game Most Valuable Player. Then, the Paladins baseball assistant coaches are Taylor Harbin and Geoff Kimmel. Coach Taylor Harbin is at the same time the team’s recruiting coordinator. He is a native of Travelers Rest, South Carolina. Coach Taylor Harbin is a bachelor’s degree in parks, recreation and tourism management from Clemson University. On the other hand, Coach Geoff Kimmel is a bachelor’s degree in physical education graduate from Wesley University. It is also where he earned his master’s degree in management. Furthermore, the Paladins pitching coach is Kaleb Davis, a native of Orangeburg, South Carolina. He is an alumnus of the University of Southern California with a degree in kinesiology. Coach Davis is with the coaching staff since July of 2016. Leo Mazzone is the special advisor and Kim Silvers is the administrative assistant. Finally, Aaron Lesiak is the director of baseball operations.
