The Florida International University Panthers Baseball Prospect Camp is a two-day event that will be held on September 22 and September 23. It is set to run daily from 9 o’clock in the morning until 4 o’clock in the afternoon. This baseball prospect camp is going to take place at the scenic Florida International University Baseball Stadium in Miami, Florida. Furthermore, this baseball program is available to all male baseball prospects who aspire to play at the college level. Other top colleges and universities coaches are also attending this camp. In addition, the camp registration fee is $175 per player. Every participant is required to bring their own baseball bat, hat, helmet, gloves, cleats, and sneakers. Catchers also need to bring all the necessary catcher’s gears.

Florida International University Panthers Baseball Prospect Camp Organizers
The head coach of the Florida International University Panthers baseball team is Mervyl Melendez. He is now entering his fourth year at the helm of the Panthers baseball program. Coach Mervyl Melendez is an alumnus of Bethune-Cookman University. Ultimately, Coach Mervyl Melendez is an eleven-time Conference Coach of the Year awardee. He is the former Bethune-Cookman head coach and has led the team to 11 MEAC Championships. Coach Melendez is also the former Alabama State head coach and has led the team to a couple of SWAC Eastern Division Championships. Coach Melendez is now holding an overall coaching win-loss record of 537-436. Then, the Florida International University Panthers assistant baseball coaches are Dax Norris and Jered Goodwin. Coach Dax Norris is a University of Alabama graduate and a former Crimson Tide baseball standout. He is in his first season with the Panthers coaching staff. Similarly, Coach Jered Goodwin is also in his first season with the coaching staff. He is a Birmingham Southern College graduate. At the same time, Coach Jered Goodwin is the team’s recruiting coordinator. And finally, the Panthers volunteer assistant baseball coach is Einar Muniz.
