Fairfield University Stags Summer Prospect Baseball Camp

The Fairfield University Stags Summer Prospect Baseball Camp aims at helping the participants achieve their full baseball potential. It is also an opportunity for excellent players to showcase their skills and become one of the Stags college baseball student-athletes. This baseball prospect camp is going to run from 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM on the 19th of August. In addition, the venue of this program is Fairfield University’s state of the art Alumni Diamond. The program is open to all and any boys 14 to 18 years of age. It is going to include a batting practice, position work, games, evaluation, and a question and answer session with the Stags baseball coaching staff. Furthermore, the camp registration fee is $175 per camper.

Fairfield University Stags Summer Prospect Baseball Camp Organizers

The head coach of Fairfield University Stags baseball team is Bill Currier. He is now in his seventh year at the helm of the Stags baseball program. Coach Bill Currier is an alumnus of the University of Vermont. He is also a master’s degree in physical education graduate from the University of Western Carolina. Ultimately, Coach Bill Currier is a two-time Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Coach of the Year awardee. He is also a three-time America East Coach of the Year. Additionally, Coach Bill Currier is an inductee into the 2005 Vermont Principals Association Hall of Fame. Then, the Fairfield University Stags pitching coach is Ted Hurvul. He is a major in Coaching and Administration and minor in Business Administration graduate from the University of Connecticut. Coach Hurvul is also a master’s in History graduate from Washington College. At the same time, he is the team’s recruiting coordinator. The Stags assistant baseball coach is Kyle Nisson a Quinnipiac University graduate. He is in his first year with the Stags coaching staff. He is also a former Quinnipiac Bobcats catcher and a former Most Valuable Player awardee. Anf finally, the team’s volunteer assistant coach is Jake Salpietro, a Fairfield University graduate. As a Stag college baseball players, Coach Jake Salpietro earned a MAAC Tournament Most Valuable Player after leading the Stags to its MAAC Tournament Title.
