Duke University Blue Devils Baseball Prospect Summer Camp

The Duke University Blue Devils Baseball Prospect Summer Camp is a four-day training program that begins on July 22 and ends on July 25. It will take place at the state-of-the-art Jack Coombs Field which is the home of the Duke University Blue Devils college baseball team. This overnight and commuter camp is open to all high school boys with high interest in playing at the college level. Additionally, the camp will cover all facets of the beautiful game. It includes hitting, defense, pitching, and base running drills. There will also be discussion regarding athletic nutrition and strength and conditioning training. Furthermore, the registration fee for overnight campers is $690.00 and $570.00. The registration fee includes a free camp jersey, hat, and meals. Supervising this event is the Duke University Blue Devils baseball coaching staff. However, participants will also receive instructions from other top collegiate coaches. The participants will also receive a performance evaluation at the conclusion of the program. The program is set to start at 5:00 PM on Day 1 and end at 12:00 PM on Day 4.

They are the Blue Devils and their identity colors are blue and white. Altogether, Duke University accumulates 16 NCAA team national championships. Five of it was from its baseball team.
 

Duke University Blue Devils Baseball Prospect Summer Camp Organizers

The head coach of Duke University Blue Devils baseball team is Chris Pollard, a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in child and adolescent development graduate from Davidson College. Coach Pollard is also a master’s degree in physical education/health education graduate from Mississippi State University. He is now entering his sixth year at the helm of the Blue Devils baseball program. In addition, Coach Chris Pollard is the 2012  Southern Conference Coach of the Year awardee. He is also the 2004 Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference Coach of the year. Then, the team’s associate head coach is Josh Jordan, a native of Gastonia, North Carolina. He is a bachelor’s degree in social studies education graduate from Catawba College. Coach Jordan is also a master’s in exercise science graduate from Fort Hays State University. The Bule Devils pitching coach is Dusty Blake, a bachelor’s degree in physical education graduate from the Appalachian State University. He is in his first season with the coaching staff. Jason Stein is the assistant coach as well as the hitting coach. Finally, Chris Gordon is the assistant to the head coach.
