The Denison University Big Red Baseball Prospect Camp is going to run from 10 o’clock in the morning until 5 o’clock in the afternoon of the 15th of September. It is inviting all and any male high school baseball players in the graduating classes of 2019, 2020, and 2021. This baseball prospect camp is going to take place at the Big Red Baseball Field or the Mitchell Center (in case of rain). Furthermore, this baseball camp will cover hitting, pitching and defensive baseball skill improvement sessions. There will also be a skill evaluation and a college recruitment talk. In addition, the camp registration fee is $100 per player. This baseball prospect camp will be under the direction of the Denison University Big Red baseball coaching staff.

Denison University Big Red Baseball Prospect Camp Organizers
Head Coach Mike Deegan is leading the Denison University Big Red baseball team. He is now entering his sixth year at the helm of the Big Red baseball program. Coach Mike Deegan is a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in education graduate from Marietta College. Ultimately, he is the 2014 North Coast Athletic Conference Coach of the Year awardee. This award comes after he led the Big Red baseball team to a North Coast Athletic Conference West Division championship. Under Coach Deegan’s leadership, the team has now four NCAC Championship Tournament appearances. Coach Mike Deegan is also a former college baseball player standout. In fact, he was instrumental in Marietta College’s four Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Championship and two NCAA Mideast Regional championship run. Coach Deegan is a recipient of Marietta College’s Way-Weigelt Award. Then, the Big Red assistant baseball coach is Kyle Lindquist, also a Marietta College alumnus with a degree in marketing. Coach Kyle Lindquist is now in his fifth season with the Big Red baseball coaching staff. Coach Lindquist played professionally for the Rockford RiverHawks of the Frontier League and the Gary Southshore RailCats of the American Association. He is also a former assistant coach at Marietta College.
