College of Charleston Cougars Baseball Elite Summer Prospect Camp

The College of Charleston Cougars Baseball Elite Summer Prospect Camp is a two-day event that will run from 5:00 PM on the 1st of July until 5:00 PM on the 2nd of July. It is inviting all male baseball players 12 years old and up who desire to play at the college level. The program is going to take place at the scenic College of Charleston Baseball Stadium in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. In addition, this baseball prospect camp a pro-style workout and live games which allows the participants to display their exceptional skills. It also aims at refining the players’ fundamental skills. The program is an initiative of the College of Charleston Cougars baseball coaching staff. Overall, the experience will be physically demanding but enjoyable.
 
College of Charleston is a public, coeducational, liberal arts, space-grant, and sea-grant college in Charleston, South Carolina. It is a member of the Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU). As a whole, the college has an accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. Furthermore, the College of Charleston is 12th in the Regional Universities South category of the 2018 edition of the US News and World Reports Best Colleges rankings. Their nickname is Cougars and maroon and white are their identity colors. The College of Charleston Cougars baseball team are the 2006 and 2014 NCAA regional champions. The team already have seven NCAA Tournament appearances.
 

College of Charleston Cougars Baseball Elite Summer Prospect Camp Organizers

Leading the College of Charleston Cougars baseball team is Head Coach Chad Holbrook, a South Carolina native. He was named the head coach of the Cougars baseball program on July 20, 2017. Coach Holbrook is a bachelor’s degree in physical education graduate from the University of North Carolina. Ultimately, he is the 2011 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Baseball America Assistant Coach of the Year awardee. Coach Chad Holbrook is now holding an overall coaching win-loss record of 200-106. Then, the College of Charleston Cougars assistant baseball coaches are Kevin Nichols and Will Dorton. Coach Kevin Nichols, an alumnus of the University of Alabama, is in his first year with the coaching staff. At the same time, he is the team’s hitting coach. Coach Nichols is the former Erskine College head coach and was the college baseball history’s winningest coach. Similarly, Coach Will Dorton is also in his first season with the coaching staff. He is a College of Charleston alumnus with a bachelor’s degree in middle grades education. Coach Dorton is also the team’s pitching coach. And finally, the Cougars student assistant baseball coach is Blake Butler. He is the 2015 CAA Player and Defensive Player of the Year awardee.
