The Clarkson University Golden Knights Summer Baseball Camp is a four-day training program that will run from the 10th of July until the 13th of July. Its venue is the state of the art Jack Phillips Stadium at Snell Field on Clarkson University campus. The program is inviting all and any male baseball players in any skill level 7 to 18 years of age. Moreover, this baseball training program will run daily from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. It will cover offensive and defensive instructions, batting practice, base running, and eye and hand coordination drills. This event is under the supervision of the Clarkson University Golden Knights baseball coaching staff. Furthermore, the event is requiring every participant to bring their own baseball bat, gloves, cleats, helmet, cap, and sunscreen. The registration fee is $100 per camper. Limited spots are available thus registration is on a first come first serve basis.

Head Coach Jim Kane, a native of Canajoharie, New York, is leading the Clarkson University Golden Knights baseball team. He is now in his 17th season at the helm of the university’s baseball program. Coach Jim Kane is a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management graduate from Brockport College. He is also a master’s degree in Athletic Administration graduate from the same institution. Additionally, Coach Jim Kane is a three-time conference’s coach of the year awardee. He is at the same time the university’s golf team assistant coach. Coach Kane is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association. Then, the Golden Knights assistant baseball coach is Nolan Driscoll. He is an alumnus of Clarkson University with a bachelor’s degree in Global Supply Chain Management. Coach Nolan Driscoll is now in his second season with the coaching staff. He is a former college baseball standout. Finally, the team’s volunteer assistant coach is Jerry Coleman. Coach Jerry Coleman is also a Clarkson University alumnus with a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering. He is one of the universities most well-known student-athletes. Coach Coleman is an exceptional player in both the basketball court and baseball field. He is a three-time Liberty League All-Academic member.
