California Lutheran University Kingsmen Summer Baseball Camp

Join the California Lutheran University Kingsmen Summer Baseball Camp. It is a five-day baseball training program that will run from the 23rd of July until the 27th of July. It is set to run daily from 9 o’clock in the morning until 3 o’clock in the afternoon. This baseball summer camp is for all boys 6 to 14 years of age at any skill level. In addition, this baseball summer camp is going to take place at the state of the art George “Sparky” Anderson Field which is in the California Lutheran University campus. This program aims at improving the participant’s fundamental skills and knowledge of the game. Moreover, the registration fee which includes a camp t-shirt is $340 per player. The participants are also going to receive a camp certificate of completion.
 
California Lutheran University or just Cal Lutheran is a private, coeducational, liberal arts university in Thousand Oaks, California. It is an affiliation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The university is also a proud member of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. They are the Kingsmen and the Regals and their identity colors are purple and gold.
 

California Lutheran University Kingsmen Summer Baseball Camp Organizers

Marty Slimak is the head coach of the California Lutheran University Kingsmen baseball team. He is a bachelor’s degree graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Coach Marty Slimak is also a master’s degree in public administration graduate from California Lutheran University. He is now in his 25th year at the helm of the Kingsmen baseball program. Ultimately, Coach Marty Slimak led the Cal Lutheran Kingsmen to a SCIAC title in 2013. He also led the team to an NCAA West Regional berth that same year. Then, the Kingsmen assistant baseball coaches are Erik Scherer, Collin Crowl, Davis Casciola, and Ramsey Abushahla. Coach Erik Scherer, an alumnus of the California Lutheran University is in his 19th season with the coaching staff. He is at the same time the team’s pitching coach. Coach Erik Scherer is also a master’s degree in physical education graduate from the Azusa Pacific University. Currently, he is also working as a middle school teacher in Thousand Oaks. The Kingsmen faculty athletic representative is Bruce Gillies. And finally, Steve Kissinger and Veronica Guerrero are the team’s faculty mentor.
