Bucknell University Bisons Prospect Showcase Baseball Clinic

Come and join the Bucknell University Bisons Prospect Showcase Baseball Clinic on the 12th of June. It will take place at the Depew Field which is on the Bucknell University campus. This baseball clinic is inviting all and any high school boys who dream to play at the collegiate level. Additionally, this full-day baseball showcase clinic will cover the five baseball trademark skills which are hitting for average, hitting for power, running, throwing, and playing defense. The program will also be providing performance evaluation at the conclusion of the event. Furthermore, this event provides a venue for participants to showcase their exceptional baseball skills. It is also a venue to experience a collegiate level training and competitive atmosphere. Moreover, this training program will be under the supervision of the Bucknell University Bisons baseball coaching staff and current players. Registration fee per camper is $125. Every participant is required to bring their own baseball gear and equipment. The event is set to start at 9:30 AM. The experience is going to be motivational and fun.

 Bucknell University Bisons Prospect Showcase Baseball Clinic Organizers

Leading the Bucknell University Bisons baseball team since June of 2012 is Head Coach Scott Heather.  Coach is an alumnus of the University of Arkansas and is the Bisons’ former assistant coach. Coach Scott Heather is a former college baseball standout himself. In fact, he is the 1996 Most Valuable Player awardee. Ultimately, Coach Heather is as successful in his playing career as in his coaching career. He earned the 2014 Patriot League Coach of the Year in just his second season in the head coaching role. Under his guidance, the Bisons has already a Patriot League regular season title and a Patriot League Tournament title. Then, the Bisons assistant baseball coaches are Jason Neitz and CJ Baker. Coach Jason Neitz, a native of Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania is with the coaching staff since 2011. He is a bachelor’s degree in physical education graduate from East Carolina University. Coach Neitz is a San Francisco Giants 37th round draft during the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft. Meanwhile, Coach CJ Baker is a bachelor’s degree in communications/psychology graduate from Simpson University. He is also a master’s degree in education graduate from the University of Washington. He is the 2007 NYCBL Manager of the Year awardee. Finally, the team’s volunteer assistant coach is Tyler Packanik an alumnus of the Marietta College.
