Bryant University will be holding its Bryant University Bulldogs Baseball August Prospect Camp on the 21st of August from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. The camp is open to all male baseball players in the graduating classes of 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. This event is going to take place in the state of the art Conaty Park which is on the Bryant University campus. Furthermore, this camp is ideal for those who are aspiring to take their game to the collegiate level. The program will cover all fundamental skills development drills, a batting practice, a campus tour, and a college recruiting seminar. The camp registration fee is $150 per camper. In addition, the participants need to bring their own baseball bat, cleats, sneakers, gloves, helmet, and lunch.

Leading the Bryant University Bulldogs baseball team is Head Coach Steve Owens, a native of Sauquoit, New York. He is now in his eighth season at the reins of the Bulldogs baseball program. Coach Steve Owens is a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Leisure Studies graduate from St. Lawrence University. He is also a master’s degree graduate from Ithaca College. Ultimately, Coach Owens is a four-time Northeast Conference (NEC) Coach of the Year awardee. He is also a two-time American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Northeast Region Coach of the Year awardee. Under his guidance, the Bryant University Bulldogs baseball team has already three NCAA Tournament appearances. Then, Brendan Monaghan, a native of Wayne, New Jersey, is the team’s pitching coach. He is an alumnus of St. John’s University. Coach Brendan Monaghan is at the same time the team’s recruiting coordinator. He is in his first year with the coaching staff. Kyle Pettoruto who hails from Andover, Massachusetts, is the Bulldogs assistant baseball coach. He is now entering his fifth season with the coaching staff. Coach Kyle Pettoruto is a bachelor’s degree in communication graduate from the University of New Haven. And finally, Jay Grenier, a Rhode Island native, is the Bulldogs volunteer assistant baseball coach.
