Birmingham Southern College Panthers Baseball Full Day Youth Camp

The Birmingham Southern College Panthers Baseball Full Day Youth Camp is for all 9 to 12 years old boys who are looking to develop their baseball skills through a fun training environment. It is a four-day event that will run daily from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM from the 16th of July until the 19th of July. It is going to take place at the top-notch Striplin Field which is on the Birmingham Southern College campus. Additionally, this baseball day camp will cover pitching, hitting, fielding, baserunning, and throwing drills. There will also be competitive but enjoyable games. Moreover, the camp registration fee is $185 per camper. The participants are required to bring their own baseball bat, gloves, cleats, sneakers, cap, and catcher’s gear.
 
Birmingham Southern College is a private, coeducational, liberal arts college in Birmingham, Alabama. Birmingham Southern College Panthers Baseball Full Day Youth Camp Organizers

Head Coach Jan Weisberg is leading the Birmingham Southern College Panthers baseball team. He is a bachelor’s degree in economics graduate from the University of Kentucky. Coach Jan Weisberg is now in his 13th season at the helm of the Panthers baseball program. Ultimately, Coach Jan Weisberg is the 2016 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Coach of the Year awardee. He is also the 2010 2010 Alabama College Coach of the Year and Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Co-Coach of the Year and the 2012 D3baseball.com South Region Coach of the Year. Under his leadership, the Panthers baseball has already three Southern Athletic Association titles and four SCAC Eastern Division Championships. He also led the team to an SAA tournament championship and an  SCAC tournament championship. Then, the Panthers assistant baseball coach is J.D. Hulse, a native of Roswell, Georgia. He is an alumnus of Birmingham Southern College with a degree in Psychology. Coach J.D. Hulse is in his first season with the coaching staff. Furthermore, the Panthers volunteer assistant coaches are Nathan Bland and Ivey Starling. Coach Nathan Bland, a University of Alabama-Birmingham graduate, is with the coaching staff since the 2009 season. Meanwhile, Coach Ivey Starling, a native of Brentwood Tennessee, is a Trevecca Nazarene University graduate. He is in his first season with the coaching staff.
