The Rollins College Tars Baseball Elite Four-Day Summer Camp is going to run from the 11th of July until the 14th of July. Its venue is the state of the art Rollins Softball Stadium which is on the Rollins College campus. This baseball training program is inviting all boys 6 to 12 years of age at any skill level. This program emphasizes development in the participant’s overall baseball skills through a fun training atmosphere. Furthermore, the camp’s daily schedule is set to start at 9 o’clock in the morning and end at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. All instructions and grouping will be according to the attendee’s age and skill level. Available spots are limited so registration is on a first come first served basis.

Rollins College Tars Baseball Elite Four-Day Summer Camp Organizers
Leading the Rollins College Tars baseball team is Head Coach Jon Sjogren. He is a bachelor’s degree graduate from Bryant University and a master’s degree graduate from Rhode Island College. Coach Jon Sjogren also earned his doctorate in education from Boston University. He is now in his 13th season at the reins of the Tars baseball program. Ultimately, Coach Jon Sjogren is a four-time Northeast-10 Coach of the Year awardee. He is also the 2004 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) All-Northeast Region Coach of the Year. Overall, Coach Jon Sjogren is now holding a career 680-604-5 win-loss record. He also has four Northeast-10 Conference Regular Season Championships and a Northeast-10 Conference Tournament Championship under his coaching resume. Then, the Tars assistant baseball coaches are Rob Marcello, Conor Szczerba, Patrick Szczerba, and Justin Yount. Coach Justin Yount is now in his fourth season with the Tars coaching staff. He is at the same time the manager of the Rollins JV baseball team. Coach Conor Szczerba, a bachelor’s degree in business administration graduate from Florida Southern College is now in his second season with the coaching staff. He is the recipient of the 2013 Rawlings/ABCA NCAA National Division II Gold Glove award. Coach Conor Szczerba is also the 2012 Suncoast Conference Player of the Year awardee.
