The Illinois Wesleyan University Titans Baseball Summer Camp is open to all and any 7 to 12 years old boys who are looking to develop their baseball skills in a fun training environment. It is a three-day program that will run from the 6th of June until the 8th of June. This event is going to take place at the scenic Illinois Wesleyan University campus. Furthermore, the training program aims at improving the participant’s base running, catching, fielding, hitting, infield play, throwing, outfield play and pitching skills. The camp’s daily schedule is set to start at 10:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM. The registration fee which includes a camp t-shirt is $75 per camper.

Leading the Illinois Wesleyan University Titans baseball team is Head Coach Dennis Martel. He is now in his 31st year at the reins of the Titans baseball program. Coach Dennis Martel is a bachelor’s degree in physical education graduate from the University of Maine. He is also a master’s degree in athletic administration graduate from Illinois State University. Ultimately, Coach Dennis Martel is the 2010 American Baseball Coaches Association/Diamond Sports Division III National Coach of the Year. He is also a three-time College Conference Of Illinois And Wisconsin Coach of the Year. Coach Dennis Martel is currently holding a 783-492-3 overall win-loss record. Then, the Titans assistant baseball coaches are Tim Siegworth, Matt Willey, and Mike Brown. Coach Tim Siegworth is at the same time, the team’s pitching coach. He is also an alumnus of the Illinois Wesleyan University and was a former Titan standout baseball player. Moreover, Coach Matt Willey is a bachelor’s degree graduate from North Dakota State University. At the same time, he is a full-time physical education teacher at the Bloomington Junior High School. Coach Willey is with the Titans coaching staff since the 1997 season. Coach Mike Brown is an alumnus of the Illinois Wesleyan University. He is the recipient of the 1991 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Jack Horenberger Most Outstanding Player Award and the 1991 Most Valuable Player Award.
