The Rutgers University Scarlet Knights High School Prospect Baseball Camp will run this summer from the 14th of August until the 17th of August. The training program is open to all and any boys 13 to 18 years of age who desire to take their game to the next level. It is going to take place at the leading-edge Bainton Field which is on the Rutgers University campus. Furthermore, this summer baseball camp is ideal for advanced players who aspire to become a college baseball student-athlete. The training program aims at fine-tuning the players overall baseball skills. There will also be daily scrimmages and offensive and defensive breakdowns. Joe Litterio, a native of Cranford, New Jersey, is the head coach of the Rutgers University Scarlet Knights baseball team. He is now entering his fifth season at the helm of the university’s baseball program and eighth year overall with the coaching staff. Coach Joe Litterio is also an alumnus of Rutgers University with a degree in sociology. Ultimately, Coach Joe Litterio is the 2009 Northeast Conference (NEC) Coach of the Year awardee. This award comes after he led Wagner College to a conference regular season title. The Scarlet Knights baseball pitching coach is Phil Cundari, a native of Cliffside Park, New Jersey. Coach Cundari is in his first season with the coaching staff. He is the 2011 National Pitching Coach of the Year. Additionally, Coach Phil Cundari is a bachelor’s degree in social work graduate from Seton Hall University. He is also a master’s degree in psychiatric social work graduate from Rutgers University. Then, the Scarlet Knights assistant baseball coach is Jim Duffy, another alumnus of Seton Hall University. Coach Jim Duffy is a former college baseball standout player. In fact, he is the 1995 New Jersey College Player of the Year awardee. Finally, the Scarlet Knight director of baseball operations is Glen Gardner, an inductee into the Rutgers Olympic Sports Hall of Fame.
