George Washington University Colonials Elite Prospect Baseball Camp

The George Washington University Colonials Elite Prospect Baseball Camp is a two-day event that will run from the 18th of July until the 19th of July. It is open to all and any high school boys in the graduating classes of 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. This elite prospect camp is going to take place at the leading-edge Barcroft Park which is on the George Washington University campus. In addition, this high-level baseball camp will include a pro-style workout, batting practice, question and answer session, and competitive scrimmages. There will also be training sessions in place for pitchers. The camp registration fee is $350 per camper. It will be under the supervision of the George Washington University Colonials baseball coaching staff.

Additionally, George Washington University is a member of the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area (CUWMA) and the Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA). It is also part of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU) and the Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU). The university’s latest undergraduate students population is 11,244. 43 percent of this undergraduate student population are male students and 47 percent are female students. George Washington University has three campuses which are the Foggy Bottom Campus, the Mount Vernon Campus, and the Virginia Science and Technology Campus. Moreover, George Washington University has 26 men’s and women’s athletics teams competing in the Atlantic 10 Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I. They are known as the Colonials. Buff and blue are the university’s official color.
 

George Washington University Colonials Elite Prospect Baseball Camp Organizers

Leading the George Washington University Colonials baseball team is Head Coach Gregg Ritchie. He is now in his sixth season at the helm of the Colonials baseball program. Coach Gregg Ritchie is an alumnus of the George Washington University. Ultimately, Coach Gregg Ritchie is the 2013 Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year awardee. This award comes after he led the Colonials into an Atlantic 10 Championship game. Then, the team’s assistant coaches are Dave Lorber and Rick Oliveri. Coach Dave Lorber is at the same time the team’s recruiting coordinator. He is also in his sixth season with the Colonials coaching staff. Coach Lorber is a Central Connecticut State University graduate. Coach Rick Oliveri, a native of Buffalo, New York, is now in his second season with the coaching staff. He is a bachelor’s degree in business administration graduate from the University of Buffalo. Coach Rick Oliveri is at the same time the Colonials pitching coach. Furthermore, the team’s volunteer assistant coach is Troy Marrow who is in his first season with the coaching staff. Coach Troy Marrow is an alumnus of the North Carolina Central University. Finally, Bobby Campbell is the director of baseball operations.
