Train and learn from the best at the University of Oregon Fighting Ducks Baseball Prospect Camp. It is a three-day event that will run from the 29th of July until the 31st of July. This baseball prospect camp is going to take place at the state of the art PK Park and Player Development Facility. The program is inviting all rising grade 9 to grade 12 boys who are aspiring to become a college baseball student-athlete. Furthermore, the registration for this event is only until the 22nd of July. The registration cost is $575 for overnight campers and $415 for commuter campers. The program will start at 4:00 PM and end at 8:00 PM on Day 1, start at 9:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM on Day 2, and start at 9:00 AM and end at 3:00 AM on Day 3. Overall, this training experience will be physically demanding but enjoyable.

Leading the University of Oregon Fighting Ducks baseball team is Head Coach George Horton. Coach Horton is now in his 10th year at the helm of the Fighting Ducks baseball program. He is an alumnus of the California State University, Fullerton. He also earned a master’s degree from the California Lutheran University. Ultimately, Coach George Horton is a five-time Big West Conference Coach of the Year awardee, a four-time South Coast Conference Coach of the Year awardee, and a three-time National Junior College Coach of the Year awardee. He is also the 2004 American Baseball Coaches Association National Coach of the Year and the 2016 USA Baseball Rod Dedeaux Coach of the Year. Then, the team’s associate head coach is Jay Uhlman. Coach Jay Uhlman is a bachelor’s degree in human ecology graduate from the University of Nevada. He is the 2001 South Coast Conference Coach of the Year. Coach Uhlman is now in his eighth season with the coaching staff. Meanwhile, the Fighting Ducks assistant baseball coach is Jason Dietrich. Coach Jason Dietrich is a standout pitcher during his college days. In fact, he is the 2016 Collegiate Baseball’s Pitching Coach of the Year. He is now in his second year with the coaching staff. Mitch Karraker is the volunteer assistant coach. Finally, Jamie Walton is the director of baseball operations.
