The University of Puget Sound Loggers Baseball Summer Youth Camp is inviting all and any boys or girls 7 to 13 years of age who desire to learn baseball in fun training atmosphere. It is a four-day event that will run from June 18 until June 21. This summer baseball camp is going to take place at the state of the art Logger Field which is on the University of Puget Sound campus. Additionally, this training program includes position-specific development drills, batting, base running, fielding, pitching, and catching practice. There will also be game situation drills and competitive games. The program’s daily schedule is set to start at 9:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM. Check-in starts at 8:00 AM on Day 1. Moreover, the camp registration fee is $225 per player. This registration fee includes a camp t-shirt. The participants are responsible to bring their own sunscreen, baseball bat, gloves, cap, and cleats.

University of Puget Sound Loggers Baseball Summer Youth Camp Organizers
Jeff Halstead, a native of Clackamas, Oregon, is the head coach of the University of Puget Sound Loggers baseball team. He is a Puget Sound alumnus with a bachelor’s degree in business. He is also a master’s degree in education graduate from the same university. In addition, Coach Jeff Halstead is at the helm of the Loggers baseball program since the 2015 season. He is now in his fourth year with the coaching staff. The Loggers assistant baseball coaches are Joel Pedretti, Bob Walz, Josh Kalalau, Justin Gabriel, and Cam Duvall. Coach Joel Pedretti is at the same time the team’s infield coach and recruiting coordinator. He is an alumnus of the University of Oklahoma. Then, Coach Bob Walz is Loggers former interim head coach. The Washington State University graduate is now in his 27th season with the coaching staff. Coach Josh Kalalau, a native of University Place, Washington is now in his third season with the Loggers baseball coaching staff. Coach Josh Kalalau is the former undergraduate assistant coach of the Seattle University Redhawks. He is a former college standout baseball player. In fact, Coach Kalalau is a recipient of the Johnny Obrien Award.
