The University of California Irvine Anteaters High School Showcase Camp is open to all high school baseball position players in the graduating classes of 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and2022. It is a two-day event that will run from the 21st of July until the 22nd of July. The venue of this program is going to be the leading-edge Anteater Ballpark, the home of the UC Irvine Anteaters baseball team. In addition, this event is not an overnight camp so registrants are responsible for their own accommodation. The schedule is set to start at 9 o’clock in the morning and end at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Furthermore, this event includes live games that will highlight individual baseball skill. It will be under the supervision of the University of California Irvine Anteaters coaching staff. Thre registration fee is $300 per camper.

The team has also eight NCAA Tournament appearances and two College World Series appearances.
University of California Irvine Anteaters High School Showcase Camp Organizers
Leading the University of California Irvine Anteaters baseball team is Mike Gillespie. He is now in his 11th year at the reins of the University of California Irvine Anteaters baseball program. Coach Mike Gillespie is an alumnus of the University of Southern California. Ultimately, Coach Gillespie is among the list of the most successful coaches in college baseball. He is a two-time National Coach of the Year, a Conference Coach of the Year, and a three-time West Region Coach of the Year. Coach Mike Gillespie is also an inductee to the American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. The Anteaters associate baseball head coach is Ben Orloff. Coach Orloff is a baseball standout player himself. In fact, he is a recipient of the Brooks Wallace Award and the Big West Player of the Year. He is now in his third year with the coaching staff. Then, the team’s assistant baseball coaches are Daniel Bibona and Eric Deragisch. The Anteaters baseball director of operations is Bryce Stowell. And finally, Jerry McClanahan is the graduate assistant coach.
