Join the University of California Los Angeles Bruins Baseball Showcase Camp from the 21st of July until the 22nd of July. It is for all and any boys entering grade 10 through 12. It is going to take place at the top-notch Jackie Robinson Stadium, the home of the University of California Los Angeles Bruins baseball team, which houses the Jack and Rhodine Gifford Hitting Facility. Additionally, this two-day baseball training program is an opportunity to train and learn from one of the nation’s top college baseball coaching staff. It will incorporate plyometrics, 60-yard dash, defensive work, hitting drills, and base running. The program’s daily schedule is set to run from 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM. Furthermore, this event will also provide a venue to showcase impeccable baseball skills through its competitive live games and scrimmages. Running this event is the University of California Los Angeles Bruins baseball coaching staff. The registration fee is $435 per camper. Check-in starts at 8:30 AM for both Day 1 and Day 2.

The head coach of the University of California Los Angeles Bruins baseball program is John Savage, a bachelor’s degree in secondary education, with an emphasis in physical education and history graduate from the University of Nevada. He is now in his 13th season at the reins of the university’s baseball program. Coach John Savage is the 2015 Pac-12 Coach of the Year, the 2013, 2010, and 2004 National Coach of the Year, and the 1998 Collegiate Baseball’s Assistant Coach of the Year. Correspondingly, under his guidance, the Bruins has nine Regionals titles, four Super Regional titles, three College World Series titles, and one National title. Coach John Savage is an inductee to the Reno High School Hall of Fame. Then, the Bruins assistant baseball coaches are Rex Peters and Bryant Ward. Coach Bryant Ward is at the same time the Bruins recruiting coordinator. He is a native of Greenville, North Carolina and a bachelor’s degree in communications graduate from East Carolina University. Meanwhile, Coach Rex Peters is a bachelor’s degree in physical education graduate from Cal State Fullerton. He is also a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in physical education graduate from Azusa Pacific. Niko Gallego is the volunteer assistant coach. Finally, Steve Rodriguez is the director of baseball operations.
