The Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens Baseball Summer Skills Camp is a two-day training program that will take place at the scenic and leading-edge Alumni Field. It will run from 9:30 AM on the 9th of June until 4:30 PM on the 10th of June. This baseball summer camp is inviting all and any high school boys in the graduating classes of 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. In addition, the training program will provide the participants an exposure to the high level collegiate baseball training environment. It is also an opportunity to compete against other top caliber players while improving individual skills. Moreover, the program includes stretching, on-field hitting, defensive rotation, offensive rotation, and pitching drills. There will also be an in-depth discussion about team concepts. Overall, the experience will be challenging but fun. This two-day event is an initiative of the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens baseball coaching staff. The Sagehens current players will also join and help facilitate the training program. Check-in starts at 9:15 AM on the 10th of June. The full camp is available for $340 while it is $200 for one day.

Their identity colors are blue and orange. The name of their mascot is Cecil the Sagehen. Furthermore, the Sagehens were fourth in the last Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference standings.
Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens Baseball Summer Skills Camp Organizers
Frank Pericolosi, a native of Granby, Connecticut, is the head coach of the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens baseball team since the 2003 season. The Williams College alumnus is the winningest coach in the Pomona-Pitzer baseball history. Ultimately, under Coach Frank Pericolosi’s leadership, the Sagehens has already four Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships. They also have five NCAA Tournament appearances. Coach Frank Pericolosi is the former Swedish National Baseball Team assistant baseball coach. Then, the Sagehens assistant baseball coaches are Philip Brua, Zach Hubbard, and Mark Lindsay. Coach Philip Brua is at the same time the team’s recruiting coordinator. He has also been the team’s interim head coach in the fall of 2017. Additionally, Coach Philip Brua is a bachelor’s degree in sociology graduate from Oberlin College. Coach Zach Hubbard is a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science graduate from University of Central Florida. Finally, Coach Mark Lindsay is a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Science/Studies graduate from San Francisco State University. He is San Francisco State University’s 2015 Male Athlete of the Year. Coach Mark Lindsay is also San Francisco State University’s 2012 Freshman Male Athlete of the Year.
